When a Pincent Pharma lorry is ambushed by the Underground, its contents come as a huge surprise - not drugs, but corpses in a horrible state. It appears Longevity isn't working and the drugs promising eternal youth are failing to live up to their promises. A virus is sweeping the country, killing in its wake, and Longevity is powerless to fight it. When Richard Pincent of Pincent Pharma suggest that the Underground has released the virus, something has to be done to put the story straight and once and for all alert everyone to the truth

My Review
Wonderfully well written just like the rest of the series. The book provides this essence of mystery to it, where there is a depth that leaves you hanging on a cliff edge, never knowing what is about to happen and what is going on. The characters as always are well defined and well described. They make you feel like you are in the story and that gives the whole piece this sense of reality to it, making you read on but not to just see the words but to actually experience it as well. I love the fact that all the characters have a unique individual personality to them, that some of them are similar in some ways, but not so much in others. I think my favorite part in this book was probably the bit about molly smiling at her dad, just because the iamgery that that section offer to me was beautiful in itself, something that had me attracted to the novel, wanting to read it and carry on.

In this one, you get more of an insight into jude, whilst also getting to hear about the other characters. It meant that you got to see what was happening from another persons perspective, but at the same time you were not losing the other characters or what was happening with the others. No matter what, the author made sure to keep the readers in the loop, to make sure that no one was missing out on anything, and that you always knew what was occuring and going on. I liked the way that this one ended because it was not an ended that I suspected. I knew that Pip was a nice guy but I loved the fact that he was someone different entirely and that actually he really did want the best for him. The ending in this sense was therefore perfect because it was mysterious and happy. It lead you to believe that not everything has to be dull and cliche, because it was not something that you would have exprected to read from this.

I am positive that this is a series I would recommend to other, merely because of the power it holds and represents to the readers, and the way it springs to life as you read. There is just this whole addictive essence to it, something that has you wanting more and more from the novel.
